NDIS Services we provide
Assistance with Daily Personal Activities
Support on daily activities at Tarrays aims to build participants’ independence in essential daily tasks. Tailored to each person’s needs and goals, our support assists or supervises tasks like personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, shopping, and using public transport. Services are person-centred, focusing on comfort and ease, whether provided at home, in the community, or within our supported independent living properties. Our experienced team of support workers ensures routines are manageable and empowering, helping participants live as independently as possible.
Social and Community Participation
Social and Community Participation support at Tarrays is designed for individuals who want to expand their social networks and actively engage with the community. We provide high-quality support to help participants pursue hobbies, try new activities, volunteer, and build friendships.
Our services include group and centre-based programs, day activities, and outings, such as swimming, bowling, movies, or visiting new cafés. These opportunities empower participants to lead fulfilling, independent lives while connecting with others in meaningful ways.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded option that enables participants to live independently, whether alone or with others. It’s ideal for individuals requiring full-time support in a shared home, covering the cost of support workers for daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
At Tarrays, we provide a variety of safe and comfortable homes tailored to our participants’ needs. Each home is spacious, cosy, and conveniently located near public transport and amenities, available for both short- and long-term stays. We are dedicated to offering homes where we would choose to live ourselves.
In-home Respite Care
Occasionally in life, we all need a break to recharge our energy to remain productive and efficient in what we do. While you take a break or go for a holiday or a cruise, our qualified staff will ensure that you have peace of mind by providing support to your loved one living with a disability.
Our qualified and experienced support workers will come to your home and relieve you from your care duties so that you can have a rest. In-home respite care can be for some hours, an overnight sleepover or a weekend.
High-Intensity and Nursing Clinical Care
High-Intensity Supports at Tarrays are designed for participants requiring specialised care from skilled support workers and professionals. We take pride in providing high-quality, tailored support for clients with complex needs, ensuring our team is thoroughly trained to meet these challenges.
Our qualified nurses and support workers deliver expert care in areas such as:
Complex bowel care
Nasogastric and PEG feeding management
Tracheostomy care
Urinary catheter management (indwelling and suprapubic)
Ventilation support
Subcutaneous injections
Pressure care and wound management
Short Term Accommodation (STA)
Under the NDIS, Short-Term Accommodation (STA) replaces “respite” for individuals with disabilities, offering a short stay away from home for 2–6 weeks. This support, available through Core funding, allows participants to try new experiences, build friendships, and learn skills while giving families and carers a much-needed break.
At Tarrays, our welcoming STA homes across Sydney and NSW South Coast provide a cosy, safe environment, making each stay a home away from home. Our team covers all support needs, including nutrition, meal preparation, personal care, and medication management. For those who prefer, we also offer In-Home Respite Services for personalised support.
